Johnny Wolf is a one man act that’s got a big passion for music. He started a few years ago by himself and in between had a few duo projects that he was part of. It’s all “riding solo” for him from now on, as he starts to chase his dreams in his solo career.
Johnny Wolf does mostly well-known covers and loves to give them a twist here and there. Loves song-writing and is currently busy writing to have an EP out by mid 2018.
Johnny Wolf caters for a wide crowd young and old and his main goal is to leave something behind after each gig even if it was taking you down memory lane or simply creating a great vibe.
Hard Rocking 70's style original rock with a Progessive twist and some smoky blues sauce to boot....This Quartet aren't taking any prisoners
This powerful 4 piece rock outfit is getting ready to blow some serious hair back...
and even if you don't have a single hair on your head...something is still gonna blow.
Richard knew that to get his Originals out there he needed some exceptional band members to make it happen. So after visiting the Andromeda Galaxy last year and finally breaking out of a bi-lateral anti-matter cosmic storm from a nearby parallel universe, he has finally found some dangerously good and extremely out of this world Musos to work with.
With Richard Pryor on guitar, his original songs are brought to life with the hugely talented and creative forces of Jesse Jordon, Rob Stemmett and Kevin Gibson.
This is pure 70's hard rock with a modern Progressive twist, a dangerously high dose of musical instrumentation and a good smattering of smoky Blues sauce to round off this delicious original rock recipe.
Raoul, as front man and Lead Guitarist, is electrifying! Alongside him, are tight-knit, solid, blistering Blues/Rock outfit!
Rocking’ Blues in a style which is anything but laid back. Setting the bar at an international level and never settling for less –. Raoul describes his style as “ever evolving, learning and developing using blues as the fundamental style.”
The band is technically brilliant and a fine tuned machine but they are much more than instrumental virtuoso’s: their playing underpins a true blues passion for their music.
“You must LIVE the music,” says Raoul. And they do! The band’s live performances take their audience on an exhilarating blues journey of audio and visual stimulation. Roux says: “I’d like to leave a stamp on blues. Ultimately we all want to be recognised. Although nothing is truly original I try to put my take on the music by playing from the heart combined with my understanding of blues played by the greats!” Unlike many blues bands, Raoul’s original music has lyrics that are unusually poetic for this genre and music that challenges the norms of Blues/Rock.
The band, formed in 2010, was the brainchild of Raoul Roux, front man, lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Raoul performs a blend of Blues/Rock and appeals to young and old alike, across the demographic spectrum.
Raoul has headlined many Festivals, to name but a few:
STRAB (Mozambique and Nelspurit)
Up The Creek Festival
Table Mountain Blues Summit
Durban International Blues Festival
Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Festival
Raoul has also shared the stage with top South African artists, to name but a few:
Black Cat Bones
Boulevard Blues Band

These bands include Bryan Adams, 3 Minute Solution, Hands down, Movie 55, Van Coke Kartel, Maz D, Nianel etc. He also formed the following bands: Jazz trio Triplicat - Hugo and Raoul jazz guitar duo, Jazz quartet with Marc Duby, Wessel van Rensburg, Marius Appelgrein and Acoustic Moods with David Houghton.
Roux has also performed with international star Patrizio Buanne live - Carnival City and Bryan Adams during his tour to South Africa.

Shortly after finishing his BMus Honours Degree, Nortje got offered to teach honour students at COPA, full time.

Nortje has joined some top South African artists, to name but a few:
The Jesse Jordan Band
Bass – Various Musicians including Pretoria based Chris Van Der Walt (Black Cat Bones, Borgasm and Pit Virus) and Cape Town based Nick Kuiper (Heather Waters, Stephanie van der Walt and The Akelian Circus)
Among South African Blues Circles Raoul and his incredible band are considered the tightest, most original and epic Blues/Rock bands in the country. Raoul has just released his Remastered Debut Album “Say It Ain’t So”, recorded in SA and mastered in the UK during his 5 month tour there where he headlined on some of the country’s Top Venue’s stages including Half Moon Putney and the Blues Kitchen, Camden (2015) , which has been broadcast and played across South African Radio Stations, as well as Mark Kerr’s “Blues Nation” in Dallas Texas and many other international online stations
Currently working on material for the new album with one Single Round the Bend released already; with a touring schedule that will see them spreading their blues magic across the country. They have recently enjoyed rave reviews for their headline spot at Durban International Blues Festival in Sep 2016.

Arthur Dennis takes the lead on vocals and guitar and demands respect when he straps on his Fender. Rudolph Dennis is at the heart of the rhythm section on drums and masterfully manipulates the core of every beat. Black Cat Bones
The Black Cat Bones is a South African rock band formed in Silverton, Pretoria in 2007. The group consists of members Kobus de Kock jr (vocals) and Andre Kriel (guitars) with Chris vd Walt (bass), Gareth Bunge (Drums) and is considered to be one of the current top performing acts in South Africa.
Both their debut album ‘Silverton Swamp Songs’ (2009), and the critically acclaimed second helping ‘The Long Drive’ (2011) were heavily influenced by Kobus and Andre’s blues roots but, in 2013, the band released their third (SAMA nominated) studio album ‘Beatipliller’ which showcased their collective influences as a diverse 4-piece rock act. In the same year the band also won the MK Award for ‘Best Live Act’ and emerged from being underground sub-culture champions to a group that is adored nationwide by a constantly expanding, and ever-loyal following from all walks of life.

Borderline was established in March 2014 as a result of various musicians wanting to perform their favourite songs in a different way.We don’t use a full drum set, but make use of a Cajon – a percussive instrument originating from Peru.
In addition to performing our own compositions, we also take well-known tunes and infuse it with strong elements of Blues, Jazz, Folk-rock, Reggae and African rythms. We have performed on various stages (Blues Meets Rock, Little Known Blues Fest, Durbanville Beer Fest, Root 44 Market, Bluestown Sessions, Ommiberg Festival, Rabbit Hole, Eastwoods Entertainment Lounge, Bampas, opening for Dan Platansky, Saronsberg Theatre, Die Boer, Xmas in Winter fest in Tulbagh, Hillcrest Quarry, Obviouzly Armchair, Bay Harbour Market, Val De Vie Polo Club, La CaBane, V&A Waterfront, McNasty’s (Groot Brak), Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, Table Mountain Blues Summit, etc) and our retro-fresh sound has been well received by Cape Town audiences of all ages.

Lost & Found
Glen Hodgson (The Parlotones) and Jason Oostuizen (badass drummer) team up to form SA rock outfit L&F.
A member of South Africa’s most successful pop-rock group, Hodgson knows the life of the celebrity musician and its highs and lows well. Grappling with experiences and mistakes of the past led Hodgson to start writing the songs that have become part of his solo project, Lost and Found.
With his years of experience as the drummer with One Day Remains, Van Coke Kartel and The Black Cat Bones; Jason has a wealth of knowledge to share. Jason Oosthuizen is a South African session drummer/musician and is one of the most explosive live drummers South Africa has ever seen.
He started playing drums in 1991 at the age of four and since then has gone on to play in some for the best bands to come out of South Africa. In 2007 he joined the band One Day Remains who went on to write the theme song for the rugby tri-nations entitled ‘Never say die’. In 2010 he joined Van Coke Kartel which he went onto record two studio albums with. He has also done session and live work for Jack Parow, Fokofpolisiekar and Die Heuwels Fantasties.
Jason is a seasoned drumming professional with a passion for drums and a love for music that has become a continuous journey.
The talented musical genius that lies within Westley Engelbrecht was born in 1980 where he grew up in the small town of Nelspruit. This latent talent was first experimented with when Westley began learning piano at age 10. His musical passion required more challenge and he then picked up the guitar at age 12 and pushed himself to his ultimate limits by engaging in percussion and drums a few years later.
All in all, Westley has mastered over 8 different instruments and used these consistently in his masterful compositions.
Besides his love of all things musical, Westley has proven himself to be a responsible freelance sound engineer and professional jingle writer, while still pursuing his solo/duo music career within the realms of his well-known band; Acoustic Liquid
Westley’s conquests, other than touring SA, UK, Aus, Germany, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique with his bands, include an array of interesting working environments and people including UK (Bannanarow), Australia Melbourne (Supersonic studio) and R.S.A (Grey studio, Robin Welsh,Ground level and Tone1 Studio).
It is due to these varied and multiple stimuli that Westley has since opened his own establishment under the name of Acoustic Liquid Studios.

Uit sy pen het twee outobiografiese boeke, verskeie romans, digbundels en rubriekbundels verskyn en hy word beskou as een van die beste liriekskrywers in Afrikaans met meer as 10 CD’s op sy kerfstok.
